London Rivers Week is a celebration of the city’s many rivers, and the projects and initiatives being undertaken to improve and restore them. At the ‘Why Restore Rivers?’ evening at City Hall you will hear about some of the best examples of river restoration in London and how river restoration requires collaboration between planners and politicians, ecologists and engineers, professionals and the public.
There are many opportunities for river restoration still to be realised across London. Come along and find out about how you can contribute to continuing the successful programme of restoring London’s rivers.
In addition to invited speakers, there will be information and advice available from Environment Agency, Thames Water, ZSL, Thames21 and others.
Please RSVP with Thea.Cox@environment-agency.gov.uk before Friday 16th June
