Barnes Wetland Centre is one of nine centres founded by the explorer and broadcaster Peter Scot as a centre for science and conservation. The centres are open to the public so that anyone can enjoy getting close to nature.
There are a wide range of activities on offer throughout the year and in May these include:
- Wildlife walks and talks
- An opportunity to “meet the otters”
- Bird feeding
- Weekend family activities
- A wildlife photography course
- A wildlife drawing workshop.
