The 165th University Boat Race takes place on Sunday 7 April with the women’s race at 2.15pm the men’s at 3.15pm.
Watched by thousands along the banks of the Thames, between Putney and Mortlake in south west London, and by millions more on TV around the world, The Boat Race is a unique sporting event.
You should be able to find a place to watch on either side of the river along the full length of the 6.8 km course, but in particular at the following locations:
– Putney Embankment (Close to the start line)
– Hammersmith and Barnes (Mid-course)
– Dukes Meadows and Chiswick Bridge (At the finish).
